Great Place

The staff here is amazing and so helpful. Melody in the office is always so friendly and loves my doodle. Bobby and Charlie are the best maintenance guys ever!!! They are extremely personable and are very knowledgeable and can fix anything!! They always work to accommodate my schedule for any needed repairs. The property is well kept and I am so thankful that it is pet friendly.

Great Place Close to Everything

First off, the complex management is great. Melody is very nice, accommodating, and goes out of her way to help you. She always makes you feel good and at home. Because of my personal situation, I ended renting the apartment sight unseen. To my surprise, the apartment ended up being even nicer than stated. I have been happy here and am especially grateful that this is a pet-friendly community. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone from a single person to a family. It is safe, secure, and is a good value for the money.

Deceiving Lease

The manager that set up our lease put the lease for 11 months instead of 12, so we have to pay $200 more for the last month. We believe they do this often to get the security deposit back. I want to warn others of the deceiving management tactics.

Thank you for the information provided. The management team does not purposely execute 11 month leases, only as requested. The lease was signed by yourself as well as the management team at the time of move in. The lease dates have always been the same since the day of move in, if for some reason it was discovered that the lease end date was wrong at the time of move in the lease should have been changed, however once a lease has been signed it is a legal binding contract. Based on what has been said in these comments it seemed the lease needed to be extended past the original lease terms, which did incur a premium for those additional days. The extended period of those days needed did not equal up to $200 since it is not an additional full month and on a month to month lease there is no lease break fees, the only requirement is a 30 days notice prior to move out. Moved in mid-September, and didn't know what to expect. Some other apt complexes are less than, well, we'll say, "nice." The place is so unusually quiet -- maybe the residents are longer-term and step above other apts? Very little traffic, no noise, nice pet walk area, no complaints. Well, only one -- the "rent" amount is highly misleading. As with most apts, utilities are extra, but expect to pay $30/month additional just for the right to have water and sewage disposal. That's not your USAGE, that's the flat charge on top of usage. Plus $15 for trash disposal. Really? Those should be included in the rent, not added-on. Can you rent a place WITHOUT water/sewage and trash pickup? Just a pet peeve that Westdale should be more honest and add those fixed charges into the published rent amount, not wait until you sign the lease. OTHER than that pet peeve, it's a great place -- I'd say for either short or long term. Oh, and the leasing office is great - friendly and helpful and a little maintenance item was taken care of immediately.
